Elegance of Nails was created with a clear priority: nail health comes first.
In an industry often built around speed, we take a more intentional approach. We treat every appointment as personalized service—focused on structure, shape, color, and overall style—without rushed decisions or one-size-fits-all results.
From subtle, clean sets to detailed nail art, each service is designed to wear beautifully while protecting the health of your natural nails.
Here, technique and product choice matter. We build services for longevity and nail integrity, creating an elevated experience through precision, not excess.

About Elegance of Nails
Meet Daryl
Daryl became a nail technician because she couldn’t find what she was looking for as a client.
After years of feeling unsatisfied with nail services in Seattle — not getting the shape she wanted, the products she asked for, or nail art that matched her vision — she realized the problem wasn’t just personal taste. It was an industry that had normalized rushed services, damaged nails, and inconsistent results. Instead of continuing to search for a salon that didn’t seem to exist, she decided to learn how to do it herself.
She’s been doing her own nails since 2020, officially working as a licensed nail technician since 2023. What she loves most isn’t trends or speed — it’s the fundamentals. Clean prep, healthy cuticles, proper structure, and making nails look cared for and intentional. To her, good basics are everything.
Daryl’s approach is rooted in nail health first. That means understanding that every client’s nails are different and adjusting services accordingly — more hydration when it’s needed, extra cuticle care when it matters, and techniques that support long-term nail integrity. It also means educating clients along the way, explaining what’s being done and why, so nail health doesn’t start and end in her chair.
Safety and sanitation are non-negotiable. Daryl is deeply aware of how often unsanitary practices are overlooked or accepted as “normal” in the industry. Clean tools, proper disinfection, and a hygienic work environment aren’t extras — they’re essential to protecting both nail health and overall wellbeing.
What clients notice most is her attention to detail and care. Equal lengths, balanced shapes, comfort throughout the service, and frequent check-ins to make sure that the client is comfortable and satisfied with their nails. Many clients are surprised to learn that pain, discomfort, or being ignored during a service isn’t normal — and that their experience can feel both thorough and comfortable.
When clients aren’t sure what they want, Daryl guides rather than pushes. She helps narrow down shapes, tones, and styles by talking through the overall vibe, season, skin tone, and personal preferences, offering thoughtful suggestions while keeping the final choice in the client’s hands.
For Daryl, a set feels finished when the client is genuinely happy — not just accepting the result, but clearly satisfied and excited. That reaction is what tells her the work is complete.
Outside of nails, her creativity is influenced by fashion, music, culture, and current trends. Clients are often surprised by the obstacles she’s overcome to get here, and by how deeply she cares about doing things the right way.
Success, to Daryl, looks like stability and intention — reaching a place where growth is about refinement, not constant struggle. Her goal is to build something she’s proud of, rooted in care, passion, and consistency.
Above all, she wants clients to feel relieved, excited, and beautiful. She wants time in her chair to feel easy, enjoyable, and satisfying — and for clients to leave feeling confident and cared for.
